Teaching Statement.

The most influential teachers I studied under were those who continued to make work.  Their work ethic, curiosity and desire were an important component of my education.  Likewise, being active in my studio and developing my career as an artist has enhanced my teaching.   As I learn, I have more to pass on to my students. It is my goal to help students realize their potential as they move through the program, and to prepare them for their work as upper level students. This includes not only technical and conceptual skills, but also the confidence and stamina to reach their goals as a graduate and life long artists.
