Lisa Ehrich - Artist Statement

Leaf forms…Leaves are a natural progression from my previous tree branch series, but this choice is beyond logical thought. Leaf forms contain something potent in both form and content for me. Embedded in the layers of intention and accident are the ideas that drive this series as: the sensuality of form, implied volume, human touch to a natural object, symbols of regeneration and healing, and more.
