Description

Kinesiology is the study of movement or exercise. The Bachelor of Science degree program in kinesiology, with teaching specialization, prepares for teaching physical education in schools. The person who completes all State requirements will be certified by the State of Texas to teach physical education at all grade levels from early childhood to Grade 12. Study of kinesiology requires a passion for exercise, an appreciation of the health and recreational benefits of regular exercise, and a strong desire to educate others about the benefits and proper uses of exercise, and especially lifelong exercise.
