Professional and Personal Interests
I have been an epidemiologist at the Louisiana Office of Public Health (HIV/AIDS) and more recently for the City of Houston, in foodborne disease investigations. I have published in the areas of sexual health and/or global health, particularly in Latin American populations, and I currently serve on the Board of Associate Editors for the American Journal of Health Education. My personal interests include hiking, camping, spending time with my family and reading.
