University of Texas at Tyler Physical Plant

Physical Plant processes all work requests for 1) routine maintenance, 2) non-routine maintenance, and 3) plant projects and renovations.

Routine Maintenance includes non-structural work, repairs to fixed equipment, and preventative or routine maintenance to fixed equipment. Physical Plant is responsible for the costs associated with routine maintenance.

Non-Routine Maintenance includes maintenance to movable equipment or fixtures or requests for physical plant staff to provide assistance on campus. The party requesting non-routine maintenance is responsible for all costs (see also Service Center Billing for Plant).

Plant projects and renovations consists of alterations to existing building structures or grounds. The party requesting plant projects and renovations is responsible for all costs (see also Service Center Billing Rates).
