Federal and State Financial Aid for College

The state of Texas and the federal government both offer grant programs to help provide an affordable education at The University of Texas at Tyler. Most grants are based on financial need. Other programs like TEACH grants are designed to benefit students who intend to teach low-income elementary or secondary students full-time for at least 4 years in a high-need subject. Grant money does not need to be repaid.
