Gwen Williams

Gwen Williams joined the UT Tyler Office of University Advancement in January 2014 as a data specialist. In this position Gwen is primarily focused on the quality of information within the Raiser's Edge database and streamlining RE processes based on the capabilities of the system. She also oversees quality control of the document scanning process.

Gwen comes to UT Tyler with 18-plus years' experience in the information technology (IT) area including customer service, call center management, technical support, project management, hardware/software standardization, budgeting, systems administration, purchasing and invoice coding.

Additionally, Gwen was the IT client services supervisor for Banner Bank in Washington where she supervised the internal IT help desk and desktop support groups. She is also certified with the Help Desk Institute (HDI) as a Support Center Manager and Support Center Director.

Gwen received her bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. She and her family are from Texas and she recently returned to the Tyler area to be close to her immediate family.
