The academic advising-related components of my UT Tyler have been released to faculty, staff, and students.  As with any new software there are issues that need to be resolved.  We are continually working to identify and fix these problems and appreciate your patience throughout this process.  Some of the problems we are aware of are listed in the Frequently Asked Questions page.  Please refer to this FAQ sheet with all initial questions.   If there are problems or questions that are not addressed in this sheet please contact Ashley Ward, award@uttyler.edu.

The academic advising-related features that are now available are:

  • Patriot Advisement Report (PAR)

This report is replacing the Degree Audit feature in Campus Connect and will serve as the official on-line degree plan for each student.

  • Transfer Credit Summary

This report lists all courses that a student transferred from another institution along with the UT Tyler equivalent.

  • What-If Report

You can use this component to set up and request a simulated or "what-if" advisement report based on an alternate program of study. Students have the opportunity to run What-If Reports themselves, but you as a faculty advisor have access to this component to hlep them determine their major/minor options.

  • Student Exceptions

These student exceptions are the equivalent of a course subsitution. Training will be scheduled on an individual basis.

To schedule departmental training for the academic advising-related components please contact Ashley Ward, award@uttyler.edu.
