Special Programs - TJC/UT Tyler MATH 0303

Based upon scores earned on national and/or local placement exams, some students need a preparatory Math course before enrolling in an on-level college Math course at UT Tyler. The only developmental or remedial course that is available on the UT Tyler campus is MATH 0303 (College Preparatory Mathematics III).This is the highest developmental Math course offered through our partnership with Tyler Junior College (TJC), a local community college.

Trained and experienced instructors from TJC teach the MATH 0303 course on our campus during each fall and spring semester. Enrollment is limited in these sections and the actual course registration and payment for them is handled through TJC.

Freshman academic advisors can provide the required forms needed to register for these special sections of MATH 0303.
