Undergraduate Studies

The Department of Art and Art History offers two distinct degree tracks, the bachelor of fine arts (B.F.A.) and the bachelor of arts (B.A.). Both degrees offer several different areas of concentration as well as an all level teacher certification option.

Undergraduate Degree Tracks

Bachelor of fine arts in art (B.F.A.) with emphasis in the following areas

    1. Studio art
    2. Two-dimensional studio art
    3. Three-dimensional studio art

Bachelor of arts in art (B.A.) with emphasis in the following areas

    1. Art history
    2. Art 

One of the Art minor options (art minor, art history minor, curatorial studies minor, or studio art minor) may be chosen to satisfy bachelor degree requirements in other fields. More Information.

Advisors complete degree plans during these times:
Fall Semester: Sept. 1 – Nov. 15
Spring Semester: Feb. 1 -April 15

Students should make an appointment with their assigned advisor should they have questions about their degree plan or course of study, although an appointment is not necessary for the completion of a degree plan.
