The University of Texas at Tyler Friends of the
Arts was established in 1985. It is an organization of scholars, patrons
of the arts and benefactors whose primary purpose is to support the visual and performing arts by: Membership dues: Each
membership is offered at two levels: Gold - $150 and Silver - $100.
The Gold Membership provides benefits to FOA-sponsored events.
A membership at either level is mandatory for inclusion in all trips,
other than day trips. Each person is encouraged to choose the level that
meets his/her individual needs. Example:
A “couple membership” is two individual memberships at either, or
both levels. Other privileges of membership at both levels include prior
notice of unique entertainment hosted in U. T. Tyler’s Cowan Center and
Braithwaite Recital Hall, free admission to performances by U. T. Tyler students
enrolled in the School of Visual and Performing Arts, and special events
sponsored by the President of the University. For additional information, contact the Office of University
