UT Tyler Eliminates La Verne in Rematch

TYLER, Texas – The University of Texas at Tyler softball team eliminated three of the six participating teams on their way to last weekend’s ASC Championship game The Patriots reprised that roll this weekend, as they eliminated LaVerne on Saturday afternoon, 4-2, in the NCAA Division III Tyler Regional.

UT Tyler has now eliminated three of the seven teams in the Tyler Regional. The Patriots took out Redlands and Linfield on Friday and eliminated La Verne, the team that sent them to the Elimination Bracket, on Saturday. More>>>



Sajovich, Bizot Earn Regional Tennis Honors

SKILLMAN, N.J. – University of Texas at Tyler freshman Robert Sajovich (Austin, Texas) and head men’s tennis coach Chris Bizot received West Regional honors on Friday from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the sports governing body. RICHARDSON, Texas – Thirty-six University of Texas at Tyler student-athletes and support staff received Academic All-Conference honors on Friday as announced by the American Southwest Conference.
