Jennings Makes the Cut at NCAAs

BRASLETON, Ga. – Junior Brian Jennings (Bullard, Texas) is tied for 22nd place in the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship at the Château Elan Resort in Braselton. Jennings made the final cut of the top 23 teams and the top five individuals to advance to the final two days of play.

Jennings shot a +7 on the Par 71 Woodlands course on Wednesday. Combined with his score from Tuesday, Jennings is now +9 for the tournament and trails leader, Scott Harris, Jr. of St. John Fisher by 12 strokes.

For Thursday and Friday, championship play will shift back to the Resort’s Par 72 Château course. Tee times for Thursday will be available at http://www.gcvb.org/ncaagolf/ as they are announced.
