Jennings Finishes 44th at Nationals

BRASLETON, Ga. – Junior Brian Jennings (Bullard, Texas) shot a 78 for third consecutive day at the NCAA Division III National Championships to finish in 44th at the event. The four day tournament was held at the Château Elan Resort in Braselton.

Jennings shot a 73, 78, 78 and a 78 to finish with a 307 (+23). Jennings finished 22 strokes behind individual National Champion Scott Harris Jr. of St. John Fisher. The team event was won by St. John’s (Minn.), who won the event for the second straight year.

Jennings is the first ever Patriot golfer, male or female, to compete for a National Championship. Jennings 44th place finish was well within the top 50 percent of the 120 golfer field.
