Men’s Golf’s Jennings Earns All-Region Honors

DULUTH, Ga. – Junior Brian Jennings has been named to the NCAA Division III PING Men’s All-West Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Friday evening at a banquet following the sport’s National Championship tournament.

Jennings, a Bullard native, became the first Patriot golfer ever to qualify for a National Championship in his first year at UT Tyler.

Jennings had quite a 2008 campaign, finishing third at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Spring Invitational in February, second at the Callaway Collegiate Invitational in March, seventh at the American Southwest Conference Championships and in the top-half of the 120-player field at the Division III National Championships.
