Men's Basketball Six Patriots Receive Winter Academic Honors RICHARDSON, Texas – Six University of Texas at Tyler basketball players have received All-Academic honors from the American Southwest Conference. Seniors Kasey Buggs (Lake Dallas, Texas) and Matt Riccardi (Plano, Texas), junior Alyse Bell (Soldotna, Alaska), and sophomores Erica Aguilar (Plainveiw, Texas), Alyssa Ploof (Plano, Texas), and Becky Taylor (New Caney, Texas) were the six UT Tyler players to receive the honor.
