Patriots Hang Half Dozen On Texas Lutheran

The Patriots (10-2-1, 8-1-1) scored three goals in each half, blowing out Texas Lutheran 6-2 on Saturday.
Six different Patriots scored in the win, with Michael Kendall (SO/Houston, TX) starting the scoring less than four minutes into the game. He was followed by Taylor Robbins (JR/Houston, TX) and Ryan Goldblatt (SO/Dallas, TX) in the first half.
The Bulldogs scored twice in the second half but UT Tyler answered with goals from Steven Golightly (SO/Lindale, TX), Derek Meller (JR/Highland Village, TX), and Blake Lankford (SO/Burleson, TX).
Geoff Sherman (JR/Tyler, TX) played in goal in the first half, facing only one shot and getting the win. Josh Wilson (SR/Wichita Falls, TX) played the second half, stopping one shot and surrendering two goals.
With the win, the Patriots remain in first-place in the American Southwest Conference. UT Tyler plays next on the road against LeTourneau Friday night.
