CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
In 2007, Austin appeared in 30 games while batting .357 with 5 doubles and 1 triple.
During the summer Newell played in the Atlantic Collegiate League for the Quakertown Blazers under Coach Robison. Austin was selected to the ACBL All Star Team and was the All Star Game MVP.
Austin played for Coach Teague at Kennedale High School where he was selected to the All State team his junior and senior year.
