CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Clay came to UT Tyler from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. In 2007, Clay batted .277 with 3 doubles and 1 homerun while stealing 6 bags. Prior to going to NSU Clay played at Weatherford College. While there he was named to the All Conference team. He batted .371 with 20 doubles and 27 stolen bases.
At Henderson High School he played under his father Rocky Baker. He was selected All District for three years, two-time District Defensive MVP, two-time All East Texas, and two-time All State. In his senior year he was named to the 4A/5A Texas High School All Star Game and was named game MVP.
