CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to this season, Blake has been selected as a Top Player to Watch by Collegiate Baseball.

In 2008, Blake went 11-1 with a 2.06 ERA in 14 games. In 91.2 innings he threw 4 complete games and 3 shut outs. He also struck out 84 and walked 27. Blake was named to the ASC East All Academic team. Blake was ASC East 1st Team and ASC East Pitcher of the Year. Blake was also the All west Region Pitcher of the Year. He was named to two All American Teams by D3Baseball.com and ABCA both 2nd Team pitcher. Blake was the ASC East Pitcher of the Week twice for the weeks of March 31 and April 7. Blake was also voted Team Pitcher of the Year. Blake was the Top Prospect by Baseball America for the 2008 season.

In 2007, Blake was named ASC-East 1st Team Pitcher and All Academic Team.  Booher was named ASC-East Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 26.  He went 7-0 with a 3.10 ERA with 2 shut outs.

During the summer Blake played in the Texas Collegiate League for the Wichita Roughnecks under Coach Cardenas.  He went 1-0 with a 2.10 ERA in 17 innings pitched.

In 2006, Blake went 3-0 with a 3.49 ERA in 5 starts.

At LD Bell High School Blake was named to the All District Team three straight years under Coach Gibson.
