Women's Soccer Upset by UTD

The UT Dallas Women improved to 7-1 in the American Southwest Conference divisional race, by recording a 1-0 shutout victory over the visiting UT Tyler Patriots.

The Comets let up only one shot on goal to UT Tyler, but let off eight of their own. UTD took advantage of the keeper change early in the second half when freshman Tiffany Knobloch scored her seventh goal of the year with an unassisted strike in the 54th minute. Knobloch’s goal was all the Comets needed, taking the win, 1-0.

The loss evens UT Tyler's ASC East Division record to 4-4 and puts them at 6-5 on the season.
