Women's Soccer Head Coach
“Coach Webb brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to UT Tyler. She has played at a highly competitive level and has successfully coached her teams into the NCAA Division III National Tournament,” said Patterson. “Under Coach Webb's guidance, we are very excited about the growth and future of the UT Tyler women's soccer program.” In her seven full seasons as head coach of the UD women's soccer team, Webb amassed a career record of 91-46-7. She was also named ASC West Division Coach of the Year for 2000 and USCAA Coach of the Year for 2001 and 2003. Webb is also listed as one of the NCAA's Division III winningest active coaches. Webb graduated with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral and social sciences/psychology from the University of Maryland. She played three years of varsity soccer for the Terps before a knee injury cut short her collegiate career. She currently holds her USSF National "A" coaching license, the highest soccer coaching license attainable in the United States. A native of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Webb played club soccer with the Longhorn Soccer Club in Dallas and helped her team to three consecutive National Championship Tournament appearances, capturing the National Championship title in 1991. She was a member of the North Texas State Olympic Development team for seven years and played with the Region III team for four years. Webb was selected to compete in the U.S. National Pool for three consecutive years and trained at the U.S. Olympic Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. during that time. As head coach at UT Tyler, Webb will inherit a team that finished last season with an 8-7 overall record and a sixth-place, 8-5 finish in the American Southwest Conference. Coach Stefani Webb |
