Lady Tigers Get Best Of Patriots 3-0

In three close games, the Patriots volleyball team fell to conference-leading ETBU on Tuesday 30-22, 30-23, 30-24.

In game one, the Patriots (11-16, 8-7 ASC) led early, but ETBU rallied to take the lead at 13-12 and went on to win 30-22. Game two was also very even, with the Patriots and Lady Tigers trading blows until ETBU went on a six-point run to take the lead 19-13.

In game three, the Patriots fell behind early on a substitution error. They rallied to come within one point on seven occasions, but just could not catch the ASC-leading Lady Tigers.

The Patriots are currently in third place in the ASC East. They conclude their home season Thursday night against Texas Women’s University. UT Tyler will wrap up their season with road games at Mississippi College on Friday, and at ETBU Saturday.
