In a game full of firsts, The University of Texas at Tyler tied No. 21 Trinity (Tex.), 2-2, in the Patriots’ home opener Friday night in front of almost 400 fans at the Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex.

The tie was the best result against the Tigers in UT Tyler history. The two goals for the Patriots were also the first goals against Trinity, having been shutout in previous matchups against the perennial power. More>>
