Patriots Solve LeTourneau In Second Half

LONGVIEW - The University of Texas at Tyler didn’t have a shot on goal in the scoreless first half of their game against LeTourneau, but used two second half goals to beat the LadyJackets 2-1.

The Patriots (11-4, 9-2 ASC) got an unassisted goal in the 51st minute from Amanda Thomas (FR/Grapevine, TX) to take the lead initially. Following a LeTourneau goal from Amanda Norton, Leigh Garner (SR/Mesquite, TX) set up Jorden Reed (JR/Keller, TX) down the middle for the game winner. For the second straight game, Garner and Reed have connected for a goal.

Patriots goalie Kristin Robertson (SO/Tyler, TX) went the complete game, surrendering one goal and making five saves.

The Patriots face ETBU Saturday in their final road game of the season.
