Patriots Fight To Draw With ETBU, 1-1

MARSHALL - The University of Texas at Tyler's women's soccer team earned a hard-fought double-overtime draw with East Texas Baptist Saturday night, 1-1.
ETBU struck first early in the game, when Kelli Kincaid scored in the seventh minute. The Patriots (11-4-1, 9-2-1) evened the score twenty minutes later on Lindsey Henrie’s (SR/McKinney, TX) unassisted goal. Henrie had four shots on the game, three of them on goal.
The Patriots outshot ETBU 16-12, 8-6 on goal.
Goalie Lauren Hufham (FR/Arlington, TX) played the entire 110 minutes, stopping five shots and surrendering one goal.
UT Tyler concludes their season Saturday with their final match against Concordia-Austin. The Patriots will honor their seniors during that game.
