Seven is Lucky Number for Women's Soccer

KERRVILLE - Seven different UT Tyler players scored on Friday as the Patriots picked up a 7-0 American Southwest Conference women's soccer win against Schreiner.
The win moves UT Tyler to 6-1-2 in the ASC and 8-3-2 overall.
At 21:53, Lauren Thomas found the back of the net off an assist from Summer Werner to put UT Tyler on the board and ignite the Patriots' offense.
Less then a minute later, Alina Kilkenney assisted Jessica Pierce to put UT Tyler up 2-0. Amanda Thomas and Kendall Kramer also had first-half goals to give UT Tyler a 4-0 led at the break.
Lindsey Palmer scored an unassisted goal in the 47th minute to stretch the Patriots' lead to five. UT Tyler's final two goals came in the last ten minutes of the game on a penalty kick from Kasey Kemp and an unassisted goal by Ashley Crawford.
Overall, UT Tyler took 25 shots while the Patriots' defense limited Schreiner to just three.
In addition to Werner and Kilkenney, Taylor Estes and Leah Solomon had assists for the Patriots.
Sam Fraser and Morgan Dux split the goal keeping duties for UT Tyler.
The Patriots will look to stretch their winning streak to four games when they play at Texas Lutheran on Saturday.
