Stefani WebbAfter two seasons in Tyler, head women's coach Stefani Webb has the Patriots aiming at the playoffs and poised to establish a new tradition as a regular power in the American Southwest Conference.

A three-time Coach of the Year, Webb carries a record of 113-58-8 into the 2007 season, placing her in the top thirty among all active NCAA Division III coaches.  She served on the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Committee for two seasons.

In her first year at UT Tyler, Webb was 10-8-1, including going 8-5 in the ASC and winning eight of their last eleven games.  Webb states, "It took us some time to build a hard working mentality, but as we got into our season the girls really started to want to work hard for each other and that was directly resulted in wins later in the season."  The Patriots are in the third year of a four-year provisional period with the NCAA, but if eligible, would have made the playoffs last season.  Six of Webb's players received ASC All-Conference honors.

In 2006, the Patriots won a school-record 12 games, finishing 12-4-1 and in third place in the ASC, another playoff-worthy finish in their final year of provisional status. UT Tyler had eight shutouts that season

Prior to taking over the Patriots program, Webb was the head women's coach for the University of Dallas.  She was 91-46-6 in her eight seasons as head coach, winning three USCAA National Championships and also earning coach of the year honors three times in her tenure.  Webb was also the Director of Soccer for UD, helping to build both the men's and women's program.  She served as the head men's coach for two seasons and the assistant men's coach for 4 seasons and was the Senior Women's Administrator for the athletic department.

A native of Dallas, and a member of the Longhorns Soccer Club, Webb captained her team to three consecutive National Championship appearances, and captured the national title in 1991.  She was also a member of the North Texas State Team, the Region III- Regional Team and was a part of the US National Pool.  Webb was selected to compete and train at the U.S. Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs, CO during that time.  Webb went on to play  college soccer for the University of Maryland, where she was a Dean's List graduate with a degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences.

Webb holds her USSF "A" License, and is one of the only females in the United States to hold the USSF National Goalkeeping license. She also holds a NSCAA Level I & II Goalkeeping license. Webb is the Director of Coaches for the East Spirit Soccer Club. She is also on the North Texas State Soccer Association Coaching Education staff and a member of the Olympic Development Program coaching staff.

Assistant Coach
Justin Neese

NeeseJustin Neese enters his first year as Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at UT Tyler.

Neese comes to UT Tyler from Hendrix College, where he served as the head women’s soccer coach in 2007. While at Hendrix, Neese helped to restore balance and health to the SCAC program by helping a team that had finished 2-14 in 2006 achieve a 6-8-2 record in 2007. Neese leaves Hendrix second on the school’s career win list for women’s soccer.

Before Hendrix, Neese served as the head women’s soccer coach at the University of the Ozarks from 2005 to the summer of 2007. In that time span, he recruited over 30 student-athletes to the ASC institution, led the 2006 team to their second most successful season in school history, and established himself as the second winningest women’s soccer coach in school history after only two seasons.

Before his time as a head coach, Neese served as the assistant coach at the University of Dallas, his alma matter, under current UT Tyler head coach Stefani Webb in 2004. At Dallas, an NCAA Division III independent institution, Neese helped the lead the Lady Crusaders to a 10-7-1 record in 2004. The 10-win season earned the Lady Crusaders their second-ever berth into the NCAA Division III National Championship tournament.

Neese was a four year letter winner for the men’s soccer program at the University of Dallas, where he played for Coach Kenny Jones. At Dallas, Neese earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Philosophy (2003) and a master’s degree in American Studies (2005). Athletically, Neese was a part of the 2004 United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Tournament championship team. He was also named to the 2004 USCAA National Tournament All-Tournament Team, and was twice named team captain.

Neese has also earned both the USSF National “A” License, and the NSCAA National Premier Diploma, the two highest soccer coaching certifications offered in the United States, as well as the USSF National Youth License and two goalkeeping diplomas from the NSCAA. Neese also works for the Arkansas State Soccer Association as a member of the Coaching Education staff, and as a member of the Olympic Development Program coaching staff.
