Undergraduate Program

The Department of Biology offers a comprehensive eight semester curriculum leading to a B.S. degree in biology. Courses at the undergraduate level provide a broad foundation in biology and and an excellent base of preparation for a wide variety of careers or for postgraduate study. The Biology major is designed to meet the needs of students who plan to enter graduate school in the biological sciences, to enter medical, dental, or veterinary school, or to prepare students for positions in industry, state and federal government.
