JAMP Application Materials

The University of Texas at Tyler participates in the statewide Joint Admissions Medical Program (JAMP). Highly qualified, economically disadvantaged students are encouraged to pursue medical education through this program. There are two programs and application procedures. Students applying to UT Tyler who are interested in attending medical school after receiving the baccalaureate degree may apply to the UT Tyler Pre-JAMP program. UT Tyler Pre-JAMP is designed to facilitate a student's application to the Texas JAMP program. Any student interested in the State of Texas JAMP program may apply in the fall of their sophomore year.

Please download and fill out all three forms; UT Tyler Pre-JAMP application, UT Tyler Pre-JAMP intent to apply and authorization to release records, and letter of evaluation form. You may also contact Dr. James F. Koukl for materials.
