Department of Curriculum &
Instruction and Educational Foundations
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational
Foundations offers the Bachelor of Science degree with
a major in interdisciplinary studies and a Master of Education
degree. It also offers certification programs in Early
Childhood-Grade 4, Grade 4-Grade 8, secondary, and all-level.
Master's level programs are designed for teachers of all
levels wanting to update their instructional skills or
seeking initial certification at the secondary level. Students
who have an earned baccalaureate (or higher) degree and
who wish to obtain teaching certification should contact
the Office of Educator
Certification and Program Accountability in the College of Education and Psychology for an evaluation
of their transcripts and for a plan that will lead to certification.
