Core Curriculum Requirements

The Core Curriculum Requirements include:

(a) English Composition/Rhetoric--6 Semester Hours
(b) World or European Literature--3 Semester Hours
(c) Humanities-- 3 Semester Hours
(d) Social and Behavioral Sciences--3 Semester Hours
(e) Fine and Performing Arts: appreciation or history--3 Semester Hours
(f) United States History-- 6 Semester Hours (may include 3 hours max. of Texas History)
(g) United States and Texas Government-- 6 Semester Hours
(h) Laboratory Science-- 8 Semester Hours
(i) Mathematics at the level of College Algebra or above-- 6 Semester Hours
