in a program with a traditional major. The student's background and goals
are considered in the design of the individual degree plan.
Within the College of Education and Psychology, psychology may be chosen
as one of the three required disciplines. The Interdisciplinary Studies
degree program is described in the graduate section of this catalog.
GRADUATE
DEGREE STUDENT
All graduate students fulfilling degree requirements should obtain a copy
of the Procedures for Graduate Studies from the Office of the Coordinator
of Graduate Studies in the College of Education and Psychology. In addition
to general requirements for admission to graduate study, the prospective
graduate degree student in the College of Education and Psychology must
meet specific admission requirements of the selected program. Students
with inadequate undergraduate preparation in a chosen program may be required
to complete deficiencies.
TRANSFER
OF CREDIT
A student may transfer a maximum of 9 semester hours of graduate credit
in which a grade of "B" or better has been earned from approved
institutions. Transfer credit must be approved by the student's advisor.
