NURS 5315: Assessment of Nursing Management

Utilizes assessment and planning strategies to effect change. The purpose of the course is to enable the professional nurse to make sound clinical and administrative decisions based on a theoretical framework. Theories of management, leadership, change, and behavior modification are utilized to facilitate the identification of needed change. The student will apply didactic content in a variety of practice settings and with a selected clinical population. Prerequisite: NURS 5308, NURS 5312, NURS 5320, NURS 5356, or consent of instructor.
