CHEM 4336: Biochemistry II

Structure, function, chemistry, and metabolism of lipids and nucleic acids; bioenergetics and control mechanisms in cellular metabolism; interrelationships of metabolic pathways; ion channels and pumps; biosynthesis of membrane lipids and steroids; nucleic acid replication, recombination and repair, and the control of gene expression. Prerequisites: CHEM 4334/CHEM 4135.
