Master of Science in Industrial Management

The Master of Science in Industrial Management is designed to prepare the individual for employment which involves management, administration, and other types of leadership positions in industry, business, government, or education.

Degree Requirements

The Master of Science in Industrial Management degree is a 36-hour non-thesis program that includes the following requirements:

Professional Core (6 hrs.):

MANA 5350: Strategic Human Resource Mgt.

MANA 5305: Decision Making in Operations Mgt.

Technical Core (24 hrs.)

Select eight (8) courses from the following:

TECH 5335: Lean Manufacturing

TECH 5331: Project Management

TECH 5309: Industrial Processes and Materials

TECH 5310: Six Sigma Quality

TECH 5317: Computer Integrated Mfg. or related graduate-level technology course

TECH 5380: Management of Nanomaterials

TECH 5312: Total Productive Maintenance

TECH 5346: Environmental Management

TECH 5366: Value Stream Management

TECH 5306: Advanced Logistics Management

TECH 5320: Total Quality Management

Electives (6 hrs.): Any graduate-level course
