Small Business Boot Camp
The Center for Family and Small Enterprises held it's first Small Business Boot Camp in October 2014. The event was open to the UT Tyler students and the public. Small businesses were invited to attend five sessions to help them shape their businesses. Topics ranged from family business succesion, financial information, social media, obtaining loans and income taxes. Speakers were brought in from area businesses.
Family Business Series
The Center for Family and Small Enterprises and the The University of Texas at Tyler's College of Business & Technology held it's second Family Busines series on October 23, 2014. The event feautred FASTENAL. Attendees got a first-hand look at some of Fastenal operations and exciting opportunities.

The Center for Family and Small Enterprises and The University of Texas at Tyler's College of Business & Technology held it's first inaugural Family Business Series on February 18, 2014. The event featured Motor Trike, Inc. UT Tyler students, faculty, and staff, as well as family and small business owners in the East Texas area came by the UT Tyler College of Business and Technology parking lot to tour one of Motor Trike's RV's and enjoyed an up-close look at some of their trikes.
