Teaching and Research Interests:

Dr. Shin's primary teaching interests are International Finance, Financial Management, and Managerial Finance. His research has focused on corporate debt structuring, firm distress management, asset restructuring, and bank-centered market.

Biography

Dr. Shin finished his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in Finance. He has previously taught at University of Texas – Pan American. Shin studies firm’s credit risk analysis and the design of debt claims. His primary current research interests are asset sell-off, corporate restructuring, firm’s debt choice within bank-centered financial markets, and the dynamics of relationships between banks and firms.
