RESTRICTIONS

A minor in business administration is available to students who are not pursuing a BBA (ACCT, FINA, MANA or MARK).

Under the 2015-2016 catalog, completion of either the BS degree in human resource development or the BS in industrial technology results in a minor in business administration. The business administration courses are embedded in the BS in HRD and BS in industrial technology degree plans.

Minor in Business Administration

2015-2016 Degree Plan

A minor in business administration is available to students who are not pursuing a BBA. The student must complete six to nine specified lower-division semester hours and 12 upper-division semester hours from the College of Business and Technology as outlined in the above degree plan and must meet any prerequisites listed.

Minor in Management

2015-2016 Degree Plan

A minor in management is not available to students who are pursuing a major in management. The student must complete up to nine semester hours of prerequisite coursework and 18 upper-division semester hours from the Department of Management and Marketing as outlined in the above degree plan and must meet any prerequisites listed.

Minor in Entrepreneurship

2015-2016 Degree Plan

The student must complete up to six semester hours of prerequisite coursework and 18 upper-division semester hours from the Department of Management and Marketing as outlined in the above degree plan and must meet any prerequisites listed.

*Students pursuing a BBA may only apply 3 hours of the Minor in Entrepreneurship towards their Business Core or Major requirements. Remaining 15 hours will be specified by the Department of Management and Marketing.

Minor in Finance

2015-2016 Degree Plan

The student must complete nine hours of of prerequisite coursework and 15 upper-division semester hours from the Department of Finance as outlined in the above degree plan and must meet any prerequisites listed.

Minor in Marketing

2015-2016 Degree Plan

A minor in marketing is not available to students who are pursuing a BBA in marketing. The student must complete up to 12 semester hours of prerequisite coursework and 18 upper-division semester hours from the Department of Management and Marketing courses as outlined in the above degree plan and must meet any prerequisites listed.

Minor in Human Resource Development

2015-2016 Degree Plan

The student must complete 18 upper-division semester hours as outlined in the above degree plan.

Minor in Industrial Technology

2015-2016 Degree Plan

The student must complete the courses outlined in the above degree plan to earn a Minor in Industrial Technology.

Minor in Manufacturing Management

2015-2016 Degree Plan

A minor in Manufacturing Management is not available to students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. The student must complete 21 upper-division hours as outlined in the above degree plan.
