USM Programs

UT Tyler partners with the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) to offer study abroad opportunities.  The study abroad programs offered include:

• The Abbey
• British Studies
• The Compass

Please note: University of Southern Mississippi (USM) is the point of contact for all UT Tyler students participating in USM study abroad programs.  USM will provide pre-departure advising, on-site student services, and post-study abroad program follow-up for each enrolled student.  USM is responsible for arranging student housing and transportation (unless otherwise specified).  USM will send an official academic transcript of each UT Tyler student participant’s course work to UT Tyler, although it is the UT Tyler student participant’s responsibility to make sure that UT Tyler receives the transcript.
