The criminal justice division in The University of Texas at Tyler Department of Social Sciences provides outstanding undergraduate and graduate programs to prepare students for rewarding careers in a growing field.
The UT Tyler criminal justice program is highly respected among local, state and federal criminal justice agencies. Degrees offered include the bachelor of science with a major in criminal justice and the master of science in criminal justice.
Our graduates are successfully employed in many different areas, including law enforcement, corrections, case management, computer crime investigation, forensic investigation, criminal intelligence, homeland security, probation and social services.
With four full-time faculty, the UT Tyler program is large enough to offer a full range of courses, yet small enough to have an average class size of 20, allowing for individual attention.
As a UT Tyler criminal justice student, you will have a faculty advisor and receive an individualized degree plan to guide you through your degree requirements.
