Dr. Link is an Assistant Professor of Modern European History at the University of Texas at Tyler. She has a B.A. in History from The University of Montana and an M.A. and PhD from Washington State University.
Dr. Link's research focuses on the Irish experience of World War I and how the Irish in the Free State attempted to memorialize the war in a newly independent state. Her 2014 article "Neither for King nor Empire': Irish Remembrance of the Great War, 1923-1929" was published in Remembrance and Solidarity Studies in 20th Century European History.
Dr. Link teaches courses on World History, the First World War, WWII, women's roles
in war, Modern Ireland, and the British Empire. Her interests also include war memory,
gender, and empire.
