Biography

Dr. Cook is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. After graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Via Christi Hospitals Wichita, Inc. and a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy - Tulsa Campus. Additionally, Dr. Cook is a Certified Asthma Educator. Her professional interests include the management of disease states encountered in primary care settings, as well as pharmacist involvement in transitions of care and patient empowerment initiatives.
