Biography

Brittany Parmentier, PharmD, BCPS, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences. Dr. Parmentier received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa.

After graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and a PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at Community Health Network and Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition, Dr. Parmentier is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.

Dr. Parmentier’s current research interests include substance use disorders and prevention, readmission rates to inpatient psychiatric facilities, and reducing the stigma of mental illness. She is currently a member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists and is the advisor for APhA-ASP Generation Rx Initiative at the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy.
