Dr. David Romerill has accrued over 30 years of experience in healthcare.  A native of Indiana, he served 6 years on active duty as a medic in the US Air Force after high school.  After the military he worked in a variety of cardiovascular diagnostic settings and in industry as a clinical training specialist which afforded opportunities to travel extensively nationally and internationally.  An alumni of Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Science in Indianapolis, Dr. Romerill completed a pharmacy practice residency with Eskenazi Health/Purdue University and a specialty residency in critical care at Houston Methodist, Texas Medical Center.  He has practiced critical care pharmacy in both large academic and small community settings.  He was founding faculty at Husson University, where he was selected as AACP Teacher of the Year and at University of New England.  Professional interests include neurocritical care, glucose control and nutrition support in critically ill patients, shock syndromes, and antimicrobial stewardship.  Personal interests include cooking, Butler basketball and all levels of volleyball. He looks forward to belonging to a canine again in the not-too-distant future.
