Dr. Frank Yu, Pharm.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Tyler. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee and completed his PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in Oxford, Mississippi.

His practice areas include community pharmacy, ambulatory care, and rural health. His research and scholarship interests include transitions of care, antibiotic stewardship in the community setting, pharmacy-based patient education in the community setting, student pharmacy practice experiential education, and medication adherence.

Dr. Yu is currently a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA). During his time at The University of Mississippi, he served as the faculty co‐advisor for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA). He currently serves as a mentor in the NPhA/SNPhA Pharmacy Student Mentoring Program. He plans to continue his involvement with students and the community by serving in leadership capacities with student community service professional organizations.
