Betsy Brush Hahn is the development officer for the Ben & Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy.
She grew up in Tyler and then moved to Vienna, Austria, to pursue an MBA in Human Resources and a post-graduate diploma in controlling from the Austrian Controller’s Institute. She stayed in Vienna after graduating and worked for The International Atomic Energy Agency, three U.S. Ambassadors, ZGC Marketing Services, and Merck and Co. Pharmaceuticals.
She also served as president of the Women’s Career Network as that organization became part of the European Women’s Professional Network, and continued to serve as a member of their Advisory Board for 14 years.
Betsy returned home to Tyler in 2012. Before joining the Office of University Advancement, she was president of The Women’s Fund of Smith County. She also serves as a Young Ambassador for The Hospice of East Texas.
