TExES Information and Resources
Before you complete Phase II or Block 2, you need to have completed 3 hours of TExES Preparation coursework. This is a Texas Administration Code requirement--it is NOT a UT Tyler requirement.
We have face-to-face options available to you and online options (online course).
Face to Face Options:
- Saturday, June 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in BEP 218
- Monday, July 1 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in BEP 232
- Saturday, August 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in BEP 218
Students are required to take 6 hours of TExES Preparation (PPR and/or Content.) A record of attendance will be kept for each face-to-face session. Students do not have to attend the entire session if they have prior T-CERT Module hours (each module is 4.5 hours.) Report promptly at the beginning of the session and sign the attendance log provided.
Your signature is confirmation of your attendance at the session.
