Clinical Experiences - Phase II, III, & IV Student Teaching and Internship
The mission of the Clinical Experiences Unit of the School of Education is to work collaboratively with area schools and school districts to ensure that all student teachers, interns, instructional aides, and other university students enrolled in education courses with field components are provided with appropriate field experiences and supervision; have no disqualifying criminal record; and that all student teachers and interns meet all health requirements for work in the schools. Additionally, the Clinical Experiences Unit provides a positive environment for students and interns, and processes applications and appeals for participation in a timely and positive manner.
