Internship

Internship Process

  • Students may only begin an internship in the fall semester and only if they have already earned their bachelor's degree. Students are strongly encouraged to apply for student teaching by the appropriate deadline even if they are interested in pursuing an internship.
  • The internship application process begins when a student is hired by an eligible school district.
  • Completed application materials are to be obtained from and, once completed, submitted to the Office of Clinical Experiences.
  • A university supervisor is assigned to the intern.
